LEGAL NOTICE AND CONDITIONS OF USE

In compliance with Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, the user is informed that the owner of the website www.ovim.org (hereinafter, the "Web Site«) is the Observatory of Institutional Gender-Based Violence (hereinafter, «OVIM«), an entity without legal personality represented by the Hèlia Association and Almena Cooperativa Feminista, whose contact details are:

The term “user” includes any person who accesses the Website, either directly or from any other location on the Internet.

1. Access and operation of the Website

The website is intended for the general public and is free to access. To ensure greater reliability of the data reported in the reports of organizations, professionals and activists, it is strongly recommended to register using the form provided.

2. Use of the Website

The user undertakes to make appropriate use of the contents of the Website and is obliged to:

  • Provide true and accurate information about the data requested in the different forms, and keep them updated, whenever you use the Website;
  • Not to engage in activities that are illicit, illegal or contrary to good faith and public order;
  • Do not distribute content or propaganda of a racist, xenophobic or discriminatory nature due to race, sex, ideology, religion or that in any way violates morality, public order, fundamental rights, public freedoms, honor, privacy or the image of third parties and, in general, current regulations;

OVIM reserves the right to make any changes it deems appropriate to its Website without prior notice, and may change, delete or add content and services provided through the Website, as well as the way in which they are presented or located on the Website. For this reason, we recommend that users      access and read it periodically.

3. responsibilities

a) Responsibility for the use of the Website: The user is the only one responsible for any infringements that may occur or any damages that may be caused by the use of the Website, with OVIM being exonerated from any type of liability that may arise from the actions of the user.

OVIM will use all reasonable efforts and means to provide up-to-date and reliable information on the Website. However, OVIM does not assume any guarantee in relation to the presence of errors or possible inaccuracies and/or omissions in any of the content accessible through this Website.

The user is solely responsible for any claim or legal action, judicial or extrajudicial, initiated by third parties against OVIM based on the use of the Website by the user. Where applicable, the user shall assume all expenses, costs and compensation incurred by OVIM as a result of such claims or legal actions.

Likewise, all trade names, brands or distinctive signs of any kind contained therein are protected by law.

OVIM does not grant any type of license or authorization for personal use to users over its intellectual and industrial property rights or over any other right related to its Website and the services offered therein.

Therefore, the user acknowledges that the reproduction, distribution, commercialization, transformation, and in general, any other form of exploitation, by any procedure, of all or part of the contents of this constitutes an infringement of the intellectual and/or industrial property rights of OVIM or the owner thereof.
