On October 3rd we had the opportunity to present the Observatory of Institutional Machista Violence (OVIM) in Marienea, The Women's House of Basauri, Bizkaia, during the conference 'Diving deeper into the realities of women victims and survivors of gender violence and good practices for their prevention and care', organized by the Colombia Euskadi Association.
Thanks to the space provided by our colleagues from Colombia Euskadi, who have been weaving a network of collaboration between various entities for some time, Marina Oliva, Associació Hèlia, was able to share the journey of OVIM up close, detailing its origin and the process of collective construction, as well as the main challenges and achievements we have faced. With our intervention, we seek to sow the seed of OVIM to inspire other women's organizations and networks to build joint spaces, always strengthening collective work.
