During the week of November 4-11, the companions of the Mercedes Machado Feminist Association They organize the conferences 'Dismantling Vicarious Violence. Proposals from a feminist and children's rights perspective' in Tenerife, together with the funding of the Canary Islands Equality Institute. An online meeting in which different topics will be discussed:
- Institutional violence and false SAP, and its relationship with vicarious violence.
- Testimonies: Mothers and daughters and sons speak.
- Activist experiences.
- Claims and proposals.
The companions of the Federación de Asociaciones de Mujeres Arena y Laurisilva (FAMILY) are in charge of bringing the first Observatory of Institutional Violence against Women (OVIM) to this much-needed space. Specifically, Adriana Domínguez Afonso will be in charge of giving the presentation. You can sign up here.
